Disappearing Nine Patch
The 9 patch is considered a basic, foundation block in quilting and is perfect for the new sewist. It is a great block with tons of variations that everyone should keep in mind for quick quilts. The Disappearing 9 Patch is one of these variations. You start with a simple 9 patch and cut it up. Then you rotate the blocks and sew them back together into a new block.
And voila! A simple patchwork block transformed and looks amazing.
